Description:
The full-time Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day office activities including: opening and closing the office; answering calls and emails; scheduling and interfacing with caregivers; maintaining employee files; accounting; human resources; data management, communications, maintaining sufficient office supplies; ensuring office equipment is functioning properly; and other administrative work as assigned.
Minimum requirements include:
1. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills;
2. Demonstrated understanding of high-volume service operations, human resources, and administration experience in a customer service focused industry
3. Microsoft office skills
4. Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
5. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills (especially on the telephone)
6. Ability to handle occasional stress due to multiple calls and inquiries, client emergencies and customer service issues.
Candidates with prior experience specifically in the medical or home care industry are strongly preferred.
