Home care companions are caregivers that have a unique opportunity to be a lifeline and a friend to those that are
homebound or just need a little help around their home. The following are just some of the job duties of a home care
companion:
- Keeping a friendly conversation
- Providing companionship
- Medication reminders
- Arrangement of appointments
- Preparation of a grocery list
- Maintenance of a safe environment
- Accompany to appointments
