My name is Saili Gosula and I am the owner and Executive Director of SYNERGY HomeCare of San Mateo. I am hands-on, and participate in most parts of running the company.
Here, we are very positive people. We believe in the power of consistent and constant communication, and are very involved in the community.
We provide every caregiver and potential client with our Staff Bios so that each time they call the office, they are greeted by someone they will recognize. It does not matter who they talk to, everyone in our office is friendly and caring. Our entire office staff is also listed under Our Staff.
Our office is located in San Mateo, and we serve the cities of Millbrae, Burlingame, Hillsborough, San Mateo, Foster City, Belmont, San Carlos, Redwood City, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Portolla Valley, Los Altos and Los Altos Hills. Even if your city is not on this list, it is possible we can help. We currently have clients in a several other cities as well, and they are very happy with us!
We are a licensed Home Care Organization. Our license number is 414700004.
We have lived through the challenges, and understand the responsibility you are feeling, especially if you don't live close by. We are committed to providing services that focus on quality, safety, and compassion.
My personal connection to home care comes from my parents. My mother, who lives in a different country, is ailing and cared for by my father. I struggle daily with the guilt of not being able to be there for her. Because there is no Synergy HomeCare is their area, my mother does not have a professional caregiver and my father does not get any respite. It would make life so much easier for my mother, my father and myself to have a caregiver to rely on.
Home care is something I am passionate about, from beginning to end. My background as a manager in a large corporation gives me a well-rounded view of how to serve people. Our systems at SYNERGY HomeCare allow me to provide customer service and effective technology to you and our family. With these systems in place, I can focus on doing what I love: being involved in the community, helping people lead better lives and creating jobs.
Who we help
SYNERGY HomeCare focuses on non-medical home care for people of all ages. We provide companionship, homemaking, and personal care in the comfort of your home. We serve seniors looking to maintain a normal, healthy, active lifestyle. We are also available to serve the developmentally disabled, those suffering from debilitating illnesses and injuries, expectant mothers, and even to provide childcare services. We can also provide short-term help for those needing assistance after surgery or during recovery, or for transportation and care for outpatient procedures.
For special occasions, we can help your loved one get ready, take them to the function, and wait until they are ready to go home, and then take them home and get them settled back in.
I can relate to people who worry about their parents who live far away. I especially understand the challenges of staying in touch and knowing what's happening with your parent. At SYNERGY HomeCare, we provide you with the communication and connection you need when you live a long distance from your loved one.
Where we can help
We will go where you need us. We can come to your home, to an assisted living facility, nursing home, and can provide one-on-on sitting services during hospital stays. We can help with hospital discharges, to ensure the client is taken home, settled in at home, has picked up all their medications at the pharmacy, has been fed, and is ready for us to leave them.
Our volunteer efforts cover participating in the San Francisco AIDS Walk, serving on the board of non-profit organizations, volunteering as coaches (3 of us in 3 different sports!), in the PTAs, in the classroom, various non-profit organizations, the San Francisco Food Bank, and even a local community theater company. This is not an exhaustive list! We give back to our community constantly.
Providing compassionate and high-quality caregivers is a personal priority for me. We personally screen and interview every single caregiver on our team. Our caregivers are all employees of the company, all registered Home Care Aides with the State of California, bonded and insured, have passed a national background check, are certified in CPR and First Aid, and are TB Tested. We only hire those caregivers that we would feel comfortable taking care of our own loved ones. After matching you with a caregiver, we will closely monitor the caregiving relationship, with phone and in-person "quality visits".
And, yes, all of our caregivers speak English. We must be able to communicate effectively with each caregiver to provide the best service.
