Both of our families have dealt with the devastating effects of Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, heart disease and diabetes. We have first-hand experience with caring for an aging parent or loved one. Laura lost her mom after an extended illness in 2007 and lost her dad to cancer in 2009. We understand the emotional toll such a stressful situation can have on your professional and family life.
