SYNERGY HomeCare: You could work in any industry. Why home care?
Kaelyn: Why home care? I often question where my gifts and passions lie, and I truly feel like I connect well with those that can't completely care for themselves. I want to see people where they thrive the most, and that is in their homes. I feel like home care allows me to love and encourage people that I normally wouldn't get to meet.
SYNERGY HomeCare: What does being the 'care coordinator' mean?
Kaelyn: Being a Care Coordinator means that you provide the best care possible for your clients and their caregivers. You treat them as family and you do everything that you can to make them both feel safe, comfortable, and empowered in their homes and the homes that the caregivers work in.
SYNERGY HomeCare: What do you enjoy most about working at SYNERGY HomeCare in Little Rock?
Kaelyn: What I love about Synergy HomeCare is that it's not a boring 9-5 job and it constantly keeps me on my toes. When I come to work, I feel appreciated and respected and I never dread the day. And it's just a bonus that I have such an amazing team to work with!
SYNERGY HomeCare: Tell me about what is like to help people and their families.
Kaelyn: Rewarding. When you know that you are providing an impactful service for a client and their families, it is very fulfilling. I love hearing our clients' families say that they can feel relief knowing that we are there with their loved ones. I love reaching our clients' goals and exceeding them. And I love seeing a caregiver bond with a client so well that the family refers to them as "Two Peas in a Pod."
