We’ll make you the family hero by providing compassionate home care for your loved one. Your family will appreciate your due diligence in selecting the right choice in home care.
Our goal is to keep you or your loved one living comfortably at home. We accomplish this by providing a complimentary in-home assessment to determine your needs. We then carefully match your needs with the skills of one of our compassionate and trained caregivers to provide you with a customized care plan that meets your needs and fits your budget.
You don’t want your adult children to be burdened with your need for some extra help with the day-to-day. Or maybe you don’t have any relatives nearby. Learn more here.
The good news is that our experience in-home care is extensive and we care for your loved one with the compassion that we’d give our own family member. We’ll even bet we share the same mantra: family first.
Whether you need someone to care for your father while you are working, someone to help around the house after your surgery, someone to check in with your mother between your visits, or anything in between, SYNERGY HomeCare of Prescott has trained, compassionate caregivers ready to meet your needs.
No matter who in your family needs some help at home, our secret sauce is what we are praised for, time and again. It's a mixture of compassion, love, empathy, and continuity of experienced care infused with strong communication, whether we’re with your loved one for a couple of hours or a 24/7 live-in arrangement.
If you’re shopping around for in-home care for a parent or loved one, you’re probably a little stressed about the process. And quite possibly tired of every home care agency telling you “we’re the best.” It’s hard. Be sure to have prospective agencies explain their secret sauce!
According to a Gallup-Healthways study, more than 1 in 6 Americans working full-time or part-time report assisting with the care of an elderly or disabled family member, relative, or friend. Family caregivers indicated that this assistance significantly affected their work life. Adult children don't want their parents having to leave their homes due to age-related illness or impairment. Many family caregivers spend more than 25 hours a week — in addition to their outside job and managing their household/family — caring for elderly parents and family members.
With someone else to take care of daily caregiving needs, family members (that's you!) can return to simply enjoying their relationship with an aging parent. Instead of feeling overburdened and guilty, time together can be spent creating new and recalling old memories.
Most people who are new at this, like you perhaps, approach us because they have an aging parent who needs in-home help. If that’s why you’re here, we recommend that you download this free guide on elder caregiving, “Where to Begin.” It will answer most of your questions and help you define a go-forward strategy.
While we do believe that our agency is a smart choice for non-medical in-home care, we’d like to prove it to you, in real-time, and we begin that journey with an in-home care and safety assessment that costs you nothing. It's a good opportunity for you to learn about us as an agency and as caring professionals, as it involves our care team meeting with you and any other involved family members, and of course, your loved one, if you desire.

Basically, we learn everything we can about your loved one—when they take their prescription medicine to what their favorite foods are to habits, limitations, and so on. A home safety inspection is performed to identify potential safety hazards. We gather information about what you expect from caregiving so that we can meet, or exceed your expectations. And, a key part of our care is communication with you so that you can have peace of mind knowing that your loved one is well cared for. We'll be sure to ask you to identify any problems, special needs, strengths, weaknesses, and resources, as well as evaluate your loved one's:
The benefit that towers above all others is the peace of mind that you feel from knowing you've finally initiated care for the person who may have spent a lifetime caring for you. And some argue that they are more excited at the cost savings of home care versus an assisted living facility or nursing home. Most of our clients indicate they feel so much better from the peace of mind we offer, but they’re equally as happy about saving a lot of money by using in-home care. What Home Care Costs
Something that seems to be a sensitive topic for some adult children, is breaking the news to their aging parents that they need in-home care. We work with you to help with the message delivery to your parents, as we’ve done it so often, that we understand the process an older person goes through when they believe they are losing their independence and others are beginning to control them. We know the right words, the explanations and the logic to convey to make this a smooth transition—just another benefit of home care. "I swear it was Divine intervention when I found SYNERGY HomeCare. I was at my wits end trying to find an agency that serviced Black Canyon City. Fortunately, SYNERGY HomeCare out of Prescott came to the rescue. They had a caregiver for us that was well qualified and lived in our area. We found the company easy to work with, accommodating to our needs and willing to go above and beyond to help us in other ways, as in providing contacts for other services. The pricing is comparable to other agencies and receipts always provided for tax purposes. I would highly recommend using SYNERGY HomeCare a company that actually has a heart and cares about their clients and the quality of their caregivers. Who could ask for more? I am grateful to have their services."
"I've referred several clients to Synergy HomeCare and have heard positive feedback on the service received from the Synergy team. Alan and Liz are the owners and do a great job working with their clients and hiring quality care givers. I would recommend them to anyone looking for home care services."
"I had excellent care from SYNERGY HomeCare. From the first interview with Alan, I was impressed with the attention he gave to my needs and who I would best work with. I really enjoyed the time I had with my caregivers. From before to post surgery and into recovery, all my needs were met. As a single woman living alone, I was without fear, and during recovery, without embarrassment, much to my relief. Even my dogs came to love my caregivers. I would recommend their services to anyone facing health issues."
"I had to hire Synergy rather suddenly when my ailing mother took a sudden turn for the worse. I live out of state, and her hospice nurse called me at 5 pm on a Friday to say that she needed care by 6 am the next morning, as that was when her friend who was visiting had to leave. Feeling panicked, and not terribly optimistic, I called Synergy and reached a woman who was on her way home. However, she took my call, expressed great empathy with my situation, and told me she would get the ball rolling immediately and call me when she got ahold of the owner. They weren't sure they could get someone so quickly, as they needed intake paperwork signed, but Alan managed to find someone for the next morning and went to my mom's house after hours to get her set up for it. She was being obstinate about payment at the time, so he actually left without setting up any payment options, and told me he would contact me on Monday to work that out. My mother was worried about strangers being in her home, but the Synergy staff were all so personable that she warmed to them immediately, and by Monday, she was so glad they were there. I can't thank them enough for getting everything set up so quickly and taking such great care of her on short notice. They seem to understand that almost anybody who is calling them is probably under a lot of stress and emotional turmoil and they were so helpful and understanding and comforting. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone who is in need of in-home care for their loved ones."
