Rheumatoid Arthritis Caregiving
Supporting a loved one or friend with RA requires patience, compassion, and energy. It also requires taking care of yourself. Successful caregivers suggest that you: stay informed, communicate often with loved ones and their doctors, connect with support groups, find easy ways to have fun together, seek help and respite from family and friends, and take time to exercise and rest. Children may need extra reassurance and communication to understand their parent's RA diagnosis and treatment, and to accept new limitations.
