We will often get calls for service when a parent loses their driver's license. This is such a large part of being independent! All of a sudden you can no longer go places when you want to go. It is psychologically difficult but also often when a parent finally accepts help. Once we come in to do some driving, they will accept adding a little more assistance from there.

Given all the options above, many of our clients still prefer to have a one-on-one caregiver do their driving, because it is up to them when they go, and they can get assistance during the trip (doctor's office, grocery store, etc.)
