We recommend taking advantage of the many local community outreach programs and nonprofit agencies we have available right here in our back yard. During a time of need for you or your loved one, having a strong support system locally can make your life easier. Here are just a few highlights of some of the resources we at SYNERGY HomeCare use or recommend to our clients and their families.
DRCOG, The Denver Regional Council of Governments is a nonprofit association serving as our region’s Area Agency on Aging. They act as a liaison between community resources and programs and Colorado seniors. SYNERGY HomeCare is listed in their Senior Service Directory, where you can find information on Medicaid programs, transportation services, caregiver support programs, and nursing home and in-home care. Some of our SYNERGY HomeCare team members are volunteers and participants of Project Angel Heart. We are big supporters of this worthwhile organization.
