JIM CROSSETT – OWNER & CEO
Jim opened SYNERGY HomeCare in December of 2009 and continues to work tirelessly to make SYNERGY HomeCarethe #1 non-medical home care agency in Western Connecticut.
After opening and operating three successful businesses in Westchester County over the past 30 years, faith intervened when Jim’s mother suffered a stroke and required round the clock home care in 2006. While caring for his mother the subsequent three years prior to her passing, Jim gained knowledge and appreciated the difficulties of being a family caregiver. It was through this experience that Jim decided to come out of retirement and opened SYNERGY HomeCare. “I love providing quality care to seniors but I really get a thrill out of helping relieve the stress on the adult children caring for a parent having been through it!”
Jim enjoys working on his property in Rhinebeck, NY and spending time with family.

JEANNE CROSSETT – CO-OWNER
Jeanne joined Jim at SYNERGY HomeCare in November 2015 after retiring from Post Cereals as Senior Administrator to the President at Post Cereals. Throughout her career of 39 years, she worked at a variety of companies such as General Foods, Philip Morris, Kraft Foods, etc. while raising their son and daughter.
Jeanne, with the help from her sister and family, also had the responsibility of taking care of her Mother who suffered from Dementia over a 10-year period. Just the strain of coordinating and arranging homecare while working and raising a family was stressful. It helped me to understand what our clients go through while caring for their parents. This also led to Jim’s passion to work in this field to help and provide the assistance needed in this industry. Jim opened the agency shortly after my Mother’s passing in 2009.
Jeanne brings years of office administration experience to our office, which allows each department to work seamlessly with one another. She is also an expert in Federal and State compliance issues as the homecare industry undergoes a much-needed improvement in agency regulation.
Jeanne is an avid reader, gardener, and painter.

Peter Crossett - Manager
As the latest family addition to SYNERGY HomeCare in Danbury, Peter Crossett now serves as the new Community Liasion. After graduating from Marist College, Peter went on to work at various sales positions in numerous industries in addition to managing a family restaurant chain. He brings tremendous sales and customer service experience to the Synergy family and the greater Danbury community.
Peter experienced home care first hand at a young age as he watched and helped his parents care for both of his grandmothers at his family's residence over a 10 year period. Peter's compassion and energy is a perfect fit for his new position with Synergy HomeCare as he continues the family legacy of serving the senior communities in Fairfield County and New York.
Peter's fierce work ethic is evident in everything he does. He exercises daily at the gym along with being an avid golfer and sports enthusiast. But Peter's passion for education and healthcare is what drives him to be the person he is today. Peter's ultimate goal one day is to take over the family business and continue to grow Synergy into the #1 non-medical homecare provider in Western CT.
Peter's favorite quote, "There are 2 kinds of people in this life, those who walk into a room and say "well here I am" and those that walk in and say "ahh, there you are!"
TASADA CHATMAN – SCHEDULING COORDINATOR
Tasada joined SYNERGY HomeCare as a CNA Caregiver in 2011 and quickly became a client favorite for her outgoing personality and skill set.
In the fall of 2013, we pulled Tasada from the field and brought her into our office as a full-time Receptionist and emergency go-to-Caregiver. It became apparent in a short period of time that her talents were better served in a more important position. Therefore in January of 2014, Tasada became SYNERGY HomeCare’s full-time Scheduler. The Scheduler is a key position in any homecare agency and she has excelled at her duties from day one! She is responsible for making sure that every Caregiver in the agency is properly trained and arrives on time at their Client’s home.
Tasada’s upbeat personality and experience in the field has allowed her to relate to both Caregiver and Client in a very effective manner. She is actively involved in her church & community, which makes her an excellent ambassador for SYNERGY HomeCare.
