Kalipada Pahan PhD, a neurological sciences professor from Rush Medical Center in Chicago believes that “Cinnamon” might be the key to unlocking a cure for this disorder. Dr. Pahan states, “Medieval physicians used Cinnamon to treat arthritis, coughing, hoarseness and sore throats. It was so valuable at one point, wars were waged over it.”

Recently a study at Yale School of Medicine shows reversal of Alzheimer’s in a certain species of mice that using a small dose of a drug formula. Even though this does prove it is possible for humans and we are a long way off from Human trials, it is very exciting for many people in the medical field and people affected by Alzheimer’s everyday.

The Center for BrainHealth at the University of Dallas Texas published an article in the open journal Frontiers in Systems of Neuroscience stating that implementing strategy into cognitive training has the potential to increase performance in cognitive functions within Alzheimer’s patients and possibly become a real benefit to anyone.
