Our caregivers are CPR and First Aid Certified (this is not required by our state which means that many other agencies do not require this). Our caregivers are all TB Tested annually.
Our GPS Time Clock System technology assures that our caregivers are on-time for their scheduled visit and also confirms that you only pay for the exact time the Caregiver is in your home (They clock in and out from their cell phone and must be within 300 feet of the service address for clock in/out to work).
Each caregiver is required to undergo a complete National Background Check (going a step beyond a regular background check, this search covers Prison Records, Sex Offender Records, SSN Number Verification Records, Traffic Convictions and of course Criminal Convictions dating back 7 years) also not required by our state.
Our Caregivers undergo a 3-hour Employee Orientation once hired; undergo Random Drug Testing and are required to obtain 10 hours of Continuing Education each year to continue working for our agency.
We keep in constant contact and require our caregivers to input your loved one's daily activities into a log file to be kept at your home allowing you to be a daily part of the Caregiving Process. Clients also have the ability to log into our Family Connect software and see their loved one's caregiver schedule, clock in/outs, notes added by caregivers, etc.
A SYNERGY HomeCare Owner does their best to arrive with the carefully chosen Caregiver for their Initial Visit to make sure you are happy with our choice and will continually do Quality Calls and Supervisory Visits to confirm that the Client / Caregiver match is a true fit and to quality check our service.
SYNERGY HomeCare caregivers are thoroughly interviewed, reference checked, W-2 Employees with workmen’s compensation insurance.
Our caregivers are Bonded and Insured, and, if driving your loved one, will have a current driver’s license w/automobile insurance coverage.
SYNERGY HomeCare now offers a Life Time Learning program to educate families about the caregiving process, to continually educate our Caregivers, and to provide continuing education credits to our area healthcare professionals.
