We live and work locally here in Acworth, and we have decided to invest locally to provide friendly, compassionate and responsive care service in the neighborhood. With 40+ years of combined caregiving experience, we are focus on doing what we love by providing care for your loved ones, being involved in the community, and helping people lead better lives in the neighborhood. 

Whether you need a few hours a day or 24-hour continual care, we our here to help you and your family.  Our services include companionship, meal preparation, showering/bathing and personal care assistance, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, errands, medication reminders, and other daily living activities.

We are a family run business and we take pride in ourselves on being a community-based, friendly, and responsive company. We are available to talk 24/7 to address any of the questions you may have. Our goal is to provide highest quality care in the industry and our team shares the same vision in providing trusted care. 
We proudly serve individuals located in Acworth, Athens, Buford, Canton, Cartersville, Commerce, Dacula, Dallas, Flowery Branch, Gainesville, Kennesaw, Rome, Suwanee, Winder, and Woodstock as well as their surrounding communities. We have two offices; one located in Cartersville, Georgia and the other in Dacula, Georgia to better serve everyone within the North Georgia region. We chose these locations because not only are they great areas to work, but also because we have lived and raised our families here for many years.

Priyanka Patel - Owner
With the Bachelors of Science degree in Biology, Priyanka has the dedication and passion to care for people in need. At an early age of 20, she started caring for her mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. With her compassionate nature, it did not take her long to realize that there are lot of other families in similar situations, who needs help with their loved ones. Her goal is to serve in the community by helping families with providing quality and trusted home care service to their loved ones, at the same time, improving the quality of life within the Family.
Priyanka is involved in day to day operations of the business and ensures that the loved ones of the families are provided with the best care, as well as hiring the trusted care giving team. 


Stacey Byers - Scheduling Manager
Stacey carries 14 plus years of experience in working with Adults with Developmental Disabilities along with a supervisory rule. At a very early age, she learnt to care for people, born the only female in the family she was mostly the care provider to any family member in need. After years of caring for relatives for cancer, dementia, COPD, and general illness she learnt firsthand how it can impact on the family members and finances. Therefore, she decided to devote her career to helping people in hopes to make their life a happier place while they are still on this earth.
Stacey maintains our daily schedule of all of our clients and caregivers.  She inputs new clients and caregivers into the scheduling software to collect the individual needs of each client that corresponds with the caregiver’s skill and availability.  


Rebecca Ramsey - Registered Nurse
With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Kennesaw State University, and with a successful dedicated career as a professional Registered Nurse (RN), Rebecca Ramsey has proven herself to be a leader in the nursing community in North West Georgia.  For the past 8 years, she has worked as a field nurse for the Synergy Home Care assessing, developing care plans, as well making recommendations ensuring clients’ independence at home for as long as possible. Despite her success in nursing, she continues to seek improvement in her nursing practice in order to make a difference in the lives of her patients. Ms. Ramsey’s medical career is 16 years long with experience in various areas of genetic research and nursing including Medical/Surgical, Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, Pre-Operative, Post-Operative, and Circulating RN during outpatient medical procedures.  She has effectively managed LPNs and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for many years, has written policies and procedures for new medical practices, and has performed as compliance officer to prepare facilities for state audits.  Her certifications include Legal Nurse Consultant (LNC), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and membership in the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International-Mu Phi Chapter.


We expect our staff to provide the highest level of care to our seniors and others who need help.  Our caregivers are subjected to extensive background checks, are Tuberculosis (TB) tested, reference checked and CPR/First Aid Certified. Additionally, most of our caregivers are Certified Nurse Assistants and are trained and tested in the types of personal care skills and emotional skills that people of all ages need. SYNERGY HomeCare of North Georgia provides additional support to our caregivers so that we can ensure as many of our clients can age in their own home as possible. We know that seniors who are cared for in their own home are healthier and happier. This means less stress on both the loved one and the family.
