SYNERGY Homecare of NW Atlanta would like to congratulate Randy Williams for being our Caregeiver of the year. Randy has been with us since July of 2013 and has been a tremendous asset to our team. He continues to provide exceptional service to our clients and always goes above and beyond for them! We sincerely appreciate everything that you have done for us and your clients, Randy!
"I became a CNA because it’s in my DNA to help and serve others. I’ve always lived by the philosophy - “If you're to busy to help then you're to busy.” I truly believe that if you need to feel better for whatever reason, then help. Taking the focus off yourself and your needs and giving another of your time, experience, etc, will fill you in ways that no material thing ever will.
I have found many ways in which to live out my need to serve. I proudly served in the United States Air Force and was deployed during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Worked as a Special Ed teacher, active missionary on the foreign mission field, active volunteer with Helping Hands Food Pantry of Paulding County, and active as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) in Bartow County, Georgia.
Recently, I was assigned one of our branches first military vet clients. As a CNA with Synergy, I do what is required of anyone in my position, but never satisfied to stop there. My first day with him was typical up until I asked him what I could make him to eat. He told me he had no money to buy any food. This man served his country and had no money to buy food. This was unacceptable! He did have the numbers to some local food pantries. I took them and went home to contact them. One agreed to bring him food the very next day and indeed they did. They have since pledged to continue to serve him. I too will continue to evaluate his situation and make difference where I can." - Randy Williams, CNA of the Year
At SYNERGY HomeCare, we know how hard it is to entrust someone else with the health, safety and happiness of your loved one. You may wonder, "Can I trust this person in my home? Will they be nice to my senior mother? Do they know how to care for someone with Alzheimer’s?”
You want an experienced, responsible caregiver. We understand that a true companion must share similar interests with your senior parent and understand their emotional and physical needs. We provide caregiver recommendations based on the customized care plan we develop with you, as well as the individual skills and strengths of our caregivers.
You and your family are encouraged to stay involved in the planning of your senior parent's care; we will never make a decision for you. We will always notify you of any change in their condition and at any time, you can reach your local office to discuss the plan of care.
To protect you and your family, SYNERGY HomeCare takes on all the responsibility of employing and managing your caregiver. Each SYNERGY HomeCare caregiver is:
