Amy Norland, Office Manager - [email protected]

Amy began her journey as a Direct Support Personnel in Charleston, IL and Duluth, MN before moving to Bloomington and starting as a caregiver for SYNERGY HomeCare in December 2014. As a caregiver, she developed a strong relationship with an Alzheimer's Client. Through that relationship, as well as caring for her grandparents, she decided her life's work would be dedicated to helping the elderly live their best lives. In March of 2017, she joined the administrative team. That opportunity provided her the outlet to pass on her knowledge to caregivers and allow her to continue her role in clients' lives. She enjoys helping caregivers enhance their skills and providing peace of mind to her clients and their families.

Michelle Carmack, Client Care Supervisor - [email protected]

Michelle had been serving SYNERGY HomeCare for quite some time as an On-Call Administrator, but when the time came she seized the opportunity to move into the Normal office as a full-time Client Care Supervisor. She came to us as an experienced CNA back in April of 2018 with previous home care experience, as well as facility experience. On top of being an excellent team member, she is a proud mother of two and a member of the reserve armed forces. We are very proud to have her on our team!

AshLynn originally joined our team in late September of 2019 as a caregiver, before quickly transitioning to an On Call Administrator. There she learned the ropes of dealing with the Administrative side of caregiving. Soon thereafter she began helping out in the office part time in both Bloomington as well as Champaign before taking on her full-time role as a Client Care Supervisor. Family is one of the most important things in AshLynn's life and she brings that familial spirit with her each and every day to work, which is why we're so grateful to have her as a member of our SYNERGY Family!

Sierra Hedin, Client Care Specialist- [email protected]

Sierra started with SYNERGY as a volunteer teaching our Facebook class for older adults at the ARC Center in Bloomington. She then moved on to work in the Administrative Office during breaks from school specializing in Long Term Care Insurance. Now that Sierra has graduated from Bradley University with a Health Sciences degree, she has taken on a full-time position as Client Care Specialist helping her mom, Aggie with all things client care related! She enjoys working with clients and their families and hopes to use these skills in her future as a Physical Therapist.

Aggie Hedin, Client Care Manager - [email protected]

Aggie comes to SYNERGY HomeCare with a well-rounded background in geriatrics and healthcare. She has experience working in both home care and senior living facilities. She has a passion for helping families and their loved ones through challenging times and isn’t afraid to tackle difficult situations. Through collaboration and building partnerships with professional businesses and healthcare providers, their clients/patients are able to benefit from Aggie’s experience in the senior industry. Aggie also feels it is important to give back to your community, which is why she participates on several not-for-profit boards. With her optimistic and enthusiastic attitude, she will certainly brighten your day!
