Melissa El’Saieh

Client Care Coordinator

Melissa joined our team as Client Care Coordinator in November 2019. She schedules clients’ care and communicates with clients and caregivers to ensure that services meet SYNERGY’s professional standards. Melissa also visits clients in their home to make a personal connection of ongoing care management and to assess the caregivers’ work. Melissa assists in completing home assessments and developing and implementing care plans, while coordinating with family members, facility staff and medical care providers to  establish a positive beginning of service for both client and caregiver. Her detail-oriented nature and organizational skills are essential when helping clients get the most from their homecare experience. She enjoys communicating with the clients and caregivers to ensure that the unique needs of every client’s care plan are fulfilled.  

Melissa completed a B.S. at Bridgewater State University in Biology, thinking of a career in health care.  As part of that training, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in home care for two years. Her career direction shifted when her part-time work in a retail store led to a promotion to management of customer services.  Now at SYNERGY HomeCare, Melissa is able to combine her background in health care, experience as a caregiver, and expertise in customer service to work with our caregivers and clients.

Marcy Leiman 

Director of Sales & Marketing

Marcy joined our team in November 2020 as the Director of Sales & Marketing. Marcy manages our social media, attends and follows up with contacts at professional networking opportunities and referral sources. She will attend community events and write our newly established e-newsletter. In this role, Marcy will work to spread SYNERGY HomeCare of Greater Boston's mission and vision throughout the area. 

Marcy completed a Bachelor’s in Communications at SUNY Buffalo and a Masters in Elementary Education at Lesley University and has worked for several years in marketing at another home care agency.  Having also worked as a networker and marketer in other industries, her interpersonal and social media skills will greatly expand the SYNERGY brand throughout Greater Boston.  


Gislene Registre

Senior Lead Caregiver

Gygy (Gislene) began working SYNERGY in March 2018 and soon became our first Lead Caregiver. She assists in completing home assessments and client care plans. Often, Gygy starts the care for new clients so that she can identify the best care strategies and convey those to the management, and she is able to provide training and support to caregivers, to ensure that they have specific skills to meet specific client needs.

Gygy worked as a CNA at Brigham and Women's Hospital for many years and has diplomas in Nursing, Culinary Art & Science, and more. Gygy’s healthcare experience, warm personality, and professionalism are a great addition to the care we provide for our clients.


Linda Kenfack

Lead Caregiver

Linda started working with SYNERGY in July of 2017. She has provided service for a variety of clients from companionship and transportation to memory care and Hoyer lift transfers, and as a lead caregiver, she assists with the management of care for several clients. She approaches her work with calm and patience and enjoys supporting our clients in many ways.

Linda studied French literature then finished her B.A. at Montserrat College of Art in Beverley, as well as interned at the Peabody-Essex Museum. Linda simultaneously earned a Home Health Aide certification in Boston with additional training in Alzheimer’s care; working with SYNERGY HomeCare allows her the flexible schedule to continue to develop her art. Art and artistic expression are proven therapies for the elderly, and at times, Linda has been able to share painting with clients and connect with people through her art.


Islyn Sprott

Lead Caregiver

Islyn has been with SYNERGY since April 2019, transitioning from private duty clients. She has worked with all levels of care: homemaking, dementia, mobility and personal care. She is always asking questions and learning new techniques, and now she assists with the management of clients’ care. Islyn takes pride in her clients’ satisfaction with her care and loves to hear, “Oh, Izzy! I love it when you come!”
After high school, Islyn worked in retail and attended cosmetology school. She later developed a childcare business with a number of families. This private business led to care for an older client, which inspired her to go back to school for her HHA and CNA certificates. She loves working with seniors and is happy to represent SYNERGY now. Her interests include interior design, baking, and cleaning. She loves a spotless house!
