At SYNERGY HomeCare our number one priority is always the safety and well-being of our clients and caregivers. SYNERGY HomeCare practices safety measures issued by the CDC, OSHA, and state and local health departments to ensure the health and well-being of our clients and caregivers. These measures include temperature checks, providing our staff with appropriate personal protective equipment, instruction on frequent hand washing, maintaining social distancing when applicable, and the sanitization of your home. Additional practices may exist based on state or local regulations.
All SYNERGY HomeCare locations are independently owned and operated and are responsible for monitoring and complying with applicable safety measures in effect in the communities they serve.
SYNERGY HomeCare of Annapolis
SYNERGY HomeCare of Annapolis services are versatile, flexible and customized for your comfort, peace of mind and well-being. Trust our caregivers to help with daily living activities such as meal preparation, bathing assistance, dressing, light housekeeping, medication reminders, transportation, errand running and much more. Our skilled team of experts demonstrates compassion, professionalism and dedication to elderly seniors.
Learning about each other is important While we do believe that we are the best in-home care agency in the Annapolis area, we'd like to prove it to you. After our initial phone discussion, we schedule a complimentary in-home assessment for you to learn more about us as an agency and as caring individuals. We meet with you and any other involved family members, and of course, your loved one, if you desire.
We learn everything we can about your loved one—when they take their prescription medicine and what dosage, to what their favorite foods are, to habits, limitations and so on. We gather information about what you expect from your caregiver so that we can meet, or exceed your expectations. We'll be sure to ask you to identify any problems, special needs, strengths, weaknesses and resources, as well as evaluate your loved one's:
medications and dosing
safety issues within the home
short and long term goals
communication methods and expectations
Our free home assessment has many benefits The benefit that towers above all others is the peace of mind that you feel from knowing you've finally initiated care for the person who may have spent a lifetime caring for you. And some argue that they are more excited at the cost savings of home care versus an assisted living facility or nursing home. Most of our clients indicate they feel so much better from the peace of mind we offer, but they’re equally as happy about saving a lot of money by using in-home care.
And the little secret about in-home care that you'll never hear from an assisted living facility or nursing home:one on one, individual care is given by in-home caregivers, not one caregiver for every seven patients. That is more special than you might imagine. Plus, if you don't need 24 hour care, there's a significant cost savings compared to a care facility or rehab.
One of the beauties of in-home care is that it reinforces and supports care provided by family members and friends, while your loved one maintains their dignity and independence—and morale.

Lisa L (Annapolis, MD)
"I've had home nurse visits for two illnesses in 2014 and 2015 for a total of four and a half months. The care was excellent 24/7. The nurses were the best. I would recommend them to everyone Who needed health care."
Carolyn R (Annapolis, MD)
"Excellent in all regards We engaged Synergy to provide their full array of services (Companionship, Home Maker, & Personal Care) over a seven (7) year period beginning November 2010 until November 2017 (ie: death at 96 yrs.). The daily care was 24/7 during the 7 years. SYNERGY personnel dealt very professionally with all the changes one would expect in a person aging from 89 years. to 96 years. This care included emergencies, combative cognitive decline, and physical decline. As family remotely located in Texas we were particularly appreciative of the updates and other thoughtful communications and recommendations (ie: medical professionals, hospice, etc.). Our periodic visits included meeting with the caregivers as well as meetings with administration.and medical professionals)."
