Well, last January we were looking forwarded to July’s warm weather, but I don’t think anyone was wishing for the hot weather that we are now engulfed in. As the owner of SYNERGY HomeCare of Rochester, many of my client’s are suffering with arthritis, including my mother. In the winter, my clients tell me they can’t wait till summer arrives because they know their pain will be reduced. Is this actually true? Is the pain of arthritis affected by the weather? My first thought is no. If this were the case, why are there so many busy rheumatologists in Arizona?
Every one of us is different on how temperature affects our mood and physical well-being. So if someone thinks that their arthritis pain is reduced by warm weather, that all that counts.
