Meet Cheryl! Cheryl has been with SYNERGY HomeCare of Rochester since April 2013 and has shown a very high work ethic. Cheryl graduated from Dorsey Business School with a Legal Assistant/Paralegal degree, but came into health care industry when her daughter was diagnosed with cancer at the young age of three. Through this and her parents becoming ill, Cheryl is continually educating herself on breakthrough treatments in health care and cancer research. Besides working at SYNERGY HomeCare of Rochester, Cheryl is the Facility Manager and Trustee at the Bunny Run Country Club and is very active in different community service projects like Alex’s Lemonade Stand and services through her church. Cheryl is mental health first aid certified, CPR certified, and AED certified.
Meet Diana! Diana has been with Synergy for almost three years. With a great attitude and spirit, Diana enjoys doing yoga, cycling, walking on nature trails, singing, and traveling. She loves living a healthy lifestyle outside of SYNERGY. She’s a recent graduate from Oakland University with a degree in Wellness, Health Promotion, and Injury Prevention. This degree focuses on health education, nutrition, fitness, and overall wellbeing.
Meet Mary! Mary grew up in Rochester Hills, and graduated from Adams High School and the University of Michigan. She majored in Russian and German languages, and obtained a teaching certificate. For five years Mary taught Russian and German in Lincoln, Nebraska, then she taught both languages for six years at the University of Detroit-Mercy. She has completed a Master of Arts degree in Russian. Starting four years ago she started working as a caregiver. Her clients all appreciate and love her. Mary has a genuine concern for her clients’ well-beings. She looks forward to continuing as a caregiver, and has been with Synergy HomeCare for almost a year.
Meet Sherylann! Sherylann has been with Synergy for over 3 years. She has been taking care of elderly people and special needs since 2001. She is passionate about providing them with the best care. Sherylann takes pride in knowing that she can help the elderly be as self-sufficient as possible and stay in their own homes. She is CNA trained. Also she has worked for the American Red Cross Disaster Team and she has taught CPR/First Aid.
