Do you have a senior parent who has reached the point in their life where they can no longer live independently at home? Do you worry about them every day, wondering if they are bathing, eating, taking their medications, or even getting up and dressed every day? Do you struggle about your options – do you move them in with you, move them into an Assisted Living Facility or even a Nursing Home? If they are like most seniors who have lived in their homes for many years or decades, they don’t want to move. They want to Age in Place, remain in the place where they are most comfortable - their own home. If that sounds like your loved one, the best solution for you and them is home care.
At SYNERGY HomeCare, our mission is to be your premier provider of in-home care services by always striving to offer your senior parent or family member the highest quality of life and independence. We provide a wide array of services including companionship, light housekeeping and personal care. We know you love your parents and would like to be there to help them with their activities of daily living, but you have a job, a career, and a family that you have to manage as well. Why not let SYNERGY HomeCare be the caregiver for your parent so the time you spend with your parent will be quality time. When you visit your parents, do you really want to be cleaning their house, doing their laundry, or running their errands? Why not let a SYNERGY HomeCare caregiver do that so you can enjoy the time you spend with your parents.
Our SYNERGY HomeCare office in Pennington only hires W2 employees and we are bonded and insured. We can provide the following services, either on an HOURLY basis or with a LIVE-IN caregiver who would be with your love one around the clock:
If yes, please give us a call at (609) 730-9004 and we would be happy to answer your questions about home care and walk you through our process for meeting our CareTeam. We answer our phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. So don’t wait – call us NOW
You decide how you want to initiate the request for information about how SYNERGY HomeCare can provide home care services for you or a loved one. Either way, the first phone call will be an opportunity for you to explain your situation to us, ask us questions about SYNERGY HomeCare and our services, and arrange for the best time for our owner or Director of Nursing to come to your home to meet with you for a Free In-Home Care Assessment.
When we come to meet with you, we will want to meet with the care recipient, as well as the family member or friend who is in involved in making the health care decisions. During this meeting, we will discuss medical history, the reasons why home care is being requested, the services being requested, and any information relevant to the care recipient’s care. We will also perform a safety check of the home and make recommendations on how to make the home safer. And if requested by the client, we can make arrangements for the client to interview one or more potential caregivers. During the meeting, we will create a detailed Plan of Care which will be used by the SYNERGY HomeCare staff to select the caregiver that best meets the needs and personality of the care recipient.
On the first day of service, the owner, the Director of Nursing and the caregiver will all arrive together to meet with the client and family/friend. The Director of Nursing will do a Nurse Assessment, will create an updated Plan of Care and will ensure that the client, the caregiver and the family are all in agreement on the services that will be provided. The nurse will also review the medications that the client is taking and review them with the caregiver if we will be providing medication reminders.
Once service has begun, the SYNERGY HomeCare staff will stay in constant contact with the client to ensure they are happy with the caregiver(s) and the services being provided. And our Director of Nursing will be following up at least once a month to make sure the client is receiving excellent care.

"Thank you Paul for all your help in caring for my dad. We would have been lost without your support."
"When we were unexpectedly thrust into managing our mother's care after a major change in health, working with SYNERGY HomeCare was one of a few havens in an otherwise overwhelming and stressful period. Paul had a well structured process to walk us through evaluating our mom's needs. We then felt confident that we'd considered the full range of required support and that SYNERGY HomeCare had the right criteria by which to match us to caregivers. Paul's advice on what types of schedules are harder to staff and where we'd find the most flexibility helped us strike a practical balance between our mom's needs and our budget. We really appreciated the options for e-billing and automatic debits to give us one less bill to manage too. So much about the way SYNERGY HomeCare operates is thoughtfully designed around client needs and constraints; it was a relief to work with them."
"My Dad was in a wheelchair and unable to care for himself. We contacted SYNERGY HomeCare of Monmouth and spoke to Joel and John. They were so patient with my Dad and his needs. They quickly and efficiently provided a loving aide, Jackie who gave my father very loving care prior to his passing. My Dad came to rely and trust Jackie. She requested a monitor in her room to be able to hear him at night. She was as concerned about his well being as if she was family. She was patient, loving and very smart as she made sure he got appropriate medical care as needed. John and Joel were very patient and understanding of my Dad and he really grew to appreciate their visits. I highly recommend this agency."
"Working with Paul and Mary Euell to find care for my father has shown me that they are both caring, compassionate trustworthy people. They both supported me and my family through this challenging process, and tried their best to give us the right match and care."
"I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation for the generous assistance provided by SYNERGY HomeCare in the Pennington area. I was so pleased when Mary and Paul were able to arrange care for my mother during the unsupervised hours when family was at work. Mary provided such wonderful care for my mother. She was always conscientious, caring, professional and reliable. In fact, in a very short time, the two quickly became friends! Her warmth and humor brightened my mother's days. I will always be grateful to both Paul and Mary not only for the much needed service they provided, but also ,how they both went above and beyond all expectations. On one occasion, while Mary was with my mother, she became ill from the effects of radiation. Mary dialed 9-1-1 and accompanied the ambulance to the hospital and waited until family was available to assist. From time to time, she even visited my mother in the hospital and cheered her in her final days. In all reality, Mary was more than a caretaker; she became an entrusted member of the family. The compassionate care my family member received from SYNERGY HomeCare will always be greatly appreciated. We could never have done it all by ourselves. I wholeheartedly recommend this healthcare agency to anyone. They will not be disappointed in the personalized service and reasonable prices."
"Mary and Paul Euell combined pragmatism and compassion with a high level of intelligence when they brought SYNERGY HomeCare to the Princeton area. Every time they step in to care for one person in need, they bring relief to an entire family."
"Paul, I cannot express how much easier you and your staff made the sometimes difficult task of taking care of my father. 5 years at home, comfortable, no falls, no problems, surrounded by his loved ones . This was a success story , in no small part because of his wonderful care giver Jackie. Knowing she was there when we could not be was a great comfort. Thank you again and God Bless."
"SYNERGY HomeCare is reliable and honest. SYNERGY HomeCare always sends us caregivers quickly when we need them."
"My local SYNERGY HomeCare is very sincere and helpful. They go beyond the average to help clients. SYNERGY HomeCare was able to help my wife, who has Alzheimer's, through her rehabilitation. I called SYNERGY HomeCare and they were there the next day, it took the pressure off of me."
"SYNERGY HomeCare is efficient, billings are precise and on time, and the caregiver is wonderful. The caregivers take care of my loved one's exercise and personal needs which is a huge help."
"I have already recommend SYNERGY HomeCare because we have an excellent caregiver, and the office is really easy to reach. I have had no complaints with SYNERGY HomeCare. The SYNERGY HomeCare caregiver is here 24/7 and takes care of all my loved one's needs by going above and beyond."
"I really like SYNERGY HomeCare because I had them once before and they are really wonderful. The services are very good because I live alone and the caregiver is always there when I need them."
"I am a past client of SYNERGY HomeCare. My caregiver was friendly and felt like family when they came."
"I am completely satisfied with SYNERGY HomeCare because my mother has had the same caregivers since the beginning. The caregivers are always on time and they like my mother. My mother has dementia and cannot be left alone. I take care of my mother during the day and needed someone here at night. The services have allowed me to go home and live my own life."
"SYNERGY HomeCare is very caring and has compassionate people. The people caring for my aunt were excellent. SYNERGY HomeCare helped my aunt with stimulating her, prevented her from falling, and they took her to activities."
"SYNERGY HomeCare is reliable and wonderful. SYNERGY HomeCare allows me to get out of the house."
"I went online and I looked at agencies that serve my geographic area and I looked at the rating that previous customers had given to the agencies, SYNERGY HomeCare sounded like a well-rated agency so I called them. We pay for them out of the pocket because they are not Medicare certified. The only service we pay them for is home health aide to come and clean my mother and they are terrific."
"Thank you Paul for your help for our sister. We had a crisis and you came to our aid. We so appreciated what you did and the care your staff provided for our sister. With appreciation"
"Thank you again for the wonderful caring staff that helped me recover from my accident. They were truly 'angels' sent to me when I needed them."
"I wanted to thank you so much for your devoted advise and help during Margaret’s dementia/Alzheimer’s problems. You were a consistent supporter while the disease went slowly down hill. After falling and in the Princeton Hospital and in rehab at Park Place (a Genesis Facility) for over 6 weeks, her mind will not let her walk out of the wheel chair. You deserve an award for your help. Appreciably, John D."
"I worked with Paul a number of years ago and felt very comfortable in contacting him once I knew my Mom would benefit from the caregiver service. Paul and the SYNERGY HomeCare staff provided very good care for my Mom and made the experience for me an easy transition so I could continue to work and not miss time away from the office. My Mom was also very pleased with the care she received and felt very comfortable with the caregiver. I would recommend Synergy to any family member or friend if the need ever presented itself."
"We utilized Synergy Home Care of Pennington for 9 months after my wife was released from the hospital. Our most recent caregiver, Irma, was wonderful and became a member of our extended family. She was caring and competent and we always found Paul, the owner of this location, available to us and willing to assist in any way possible. I recommend Synergy Home Care for anyone needing an aid for a loved one requiring home care assistance."
"When the “decision moment” arrived, I am so thankful that Paul and the team at Synergy-Princeton were available. Not knowing exactly what my options were, Paul provided clear, honest and supportive assessment of my mothers needs. The discussion was caring and not focused on a business transaction but rather on the immediate needs of the patient. Paul recommended a Caregiver, Karen, and her title perfectly described her, a giver of care. Karen, provided my mother superior physical and emotional care during the last weeks of her life. While we live only a few miles away, it would have been impossible to provide the level of support necessary to ensure that her remaining time was spent comfortably and with dignity. Karen embodied all of the necessary qualities I was looking for. She was professional, efficient, kind and showed a genuine concern not only for all aspects of my mothers care, but actually for my mother as a person. Additionally she became part of our family. She was kind and compassionate to my wife and children during this time of sadness. While I personally observed the Synergy teams in action, my impressions, were confirmed on when the Hospice nurse (also amazing) commented that they were not personally familiar with Paul but it was clear that my mom was receiving excellent care and we should not change a thing. So when that “decision moment” comes I am glad that Synergy and Paul were there to help."
"My husband and I were very satisfied with the service / care he received. The care and quality service left us both at ease, comfortable and confident. Our caregiver was such a tremendous help for my husband’s doctor’s appointments. A wheelchair and a walker were always necessary for those visits. Our caregiver put both of us at ease with her confidence and ability. I couldn’t have done all that was necessary without her assistance. I lost my husband and I also lost a dear friend. She has called to make sure I was okay. That’s going above and above the call of duty. Thank you for all your thoughtful and kind services."
"At a time where our family's world had been turned upside down and it felt as if we had nowhere to turn, Synergy HomeCare was there. We learned quickly that our husband, father, grandfather would be discharged from the skilled nursing facility within days and we did not have the ability to take care of him on our own. He needed 24/7 care. We turned to Synergy and they met with us the very next day. A few days later, Synergy was there when he returned home. They cooked meals, helped with light housecleaning, assisted him in late night bathroom trips, and above all else provided a sense of comfort and relief. We were all scared. It was a very difficult time for us. Synergy stood by us, they knew what to do and helped us through. Without them, we do not know what would have happened. We are so thankful that they were there for us."
"The care that your staff provided my mother was nothing but the best. Thanks for your efforts."
If you are the kind of person who gets satisfaction from bringing joy into other people's lives, a career at SYNERGY HomeCare could be the best job you've ever had.
