Our COVID-19 Policy
At SYNERGY HomeCare our number one priority is always the safety and well-being of our clients and caregivers. SYNERGY HomeCare practices safety measures issued by the CDC, OSHA, and state and local health departments to ensure the health and well-being of our clients and caregivers. These measures include temperature checks, providing our staff with appropriate personal protective equipment, instruction on frequent hand washing, maintaining social distancing when applicable, and the sanitization of your home. Additional practices may exist based on state or local regulations.
All SYNERGY HomeCare locations are independently owned and operated and are responsible for monitoring and complying with applicable safety measures in effect in the communities they serve.
What brings you to SYNERGY HomeCare of North Houston?

You probably have a loved one—most likely an aging parent— who needs non-medical home care. We’ve been in your shoes. We understand and can help. We’ll make you the family hero by providing compassionate home care for your loved one. Your family will appreciate your due diligence in selecting the right choice in-home care.
Or is it you who needs home care?
You don’t want your adult children to be burdened with your need for some extra help with the day-to-day. Or maybe you don’t have any relatives nearby. LEARN MORE HERE SENIORS
The good news is that our experience in-home care is extensive and we care for your loved one with the compassion that we’d give our own family member. We’ll even bet we share the same mantra: family first.
Our secret sauce is key to our success
No matter who in your family needs some help at home, our secret sauce is what we are praised for, time and again. It's a mixture of compassion, love, empathy and continuity of experienced care infused with strong communication, whether we’re with your loved one for a couple of hours or a 24/7 live-in arrangement.
If you’re shopping around for in-home care for a parent or loved one, you’re probably a little stressed about the process. And quite possibly tired of every home care agency telling you “we’re the best.” It’s hard. Be sure to have prospective agencies explain their secret sauce!

You are not alone
According to a Gallup-Healthways study, more than 1 in 6 Americans working full-time or part-time report assisting with the care of an elderly or disabled family member, relative or friend. Family caregivers indicated that this assistance significantly affected their work life. Adult children don't want their parents having to leave their homes due to age-related illness or impairment. Many family caregivers spend more than 25 hours a week — in addition to their outside job and managing their household/family — caring for elderly parents and family members.
With someone else to take care of daily caregiving needs, family members (that's you!) can return to simply enjoying their relationship with an aging parent. Instead of feeling overburdened and guilty, time together can be spent creating new and recalling old memories.
Best thing you’ll do today
Most people who are new at this, like you perhaps, approach us because they have an aging parent who needs in-home help. If that’s why you’re here, we recommend that you download this free guide on elder caregiving, “Where to Begin.” It will answer most of your questions and help you define a go-forward strategy.

We’ll prove how good we are
While we do believe that our agency is a smart choice for non-medical in-home care, we’d like to prove it to you, in real-time, and we begin that journey with an in-home care and safety assessment that costs you nothing. It's a good opportunity for you to learn about us as an agency and as caring professionals, as it involves our care team meeting with you and any other involved family members, and of course, your loved one, if you desire.
The in-home visit:
we do a little detective work

Basically, we learn everything we can about your loved one—when they take their prescription medicine /dosage to what their favorite foods are to habits, limitations and so on. A home safety inspection is performed to identify potential safety hazards. We gather information about what you expect from caregiving so that we can meet, or exceed your expectations. And, a key part of our care is communication with you so that you can have the peace of mind knowing that your loved one is well cared for. We'll be sure to ask you to identify any problems, special needs, strengths, weaknesses and resources, as well as evaluate your loved one's:
- medications and dosing
- medical history
- physical abilities
- cognitive abilities
- social assessment
- safety issues within the home
- short and long term goals
- communication methods and expectations
The top-ranking benefits
of our assessment
The benefit that towers above all others is the peace of mind that you feel from knowing you've finally initiated care for the person who may have spent a lifetime caring for you. And some argue that they are more excited at the cost savings of home care versus an assisted living facility or nursing home. Most of our clients indicate they feel so much better from the peace of mind we offer, but they’re equally as happy about saving a lot of money by using in-home care.

Something that seems to be a sensitive topic for some adult children, is breaking the news to their aging parents that they need in-home care. We work with you to help with the message delivery to your parents, as we’ve done it so often, that we understand the process an older person goes through when they believe they are losing their independence and others are beginning to control them. We know the right words, the explanations and the logic to convey to make this a smooth transition—just another benefit of home care. PSST—What assisted living, rehab and nursing home facilities don’t want you to know
In-home care is a cost-effective way for yourself, elderly parents and other loved ones recuperating from a hospital stay or who, because of functional or cognitive disability, are unable to fully take care of themselves. In fact, post-hospital patients who receive home care services are less likely to be readmitted for hospitalization.
And the little secret about in-home care that you'll never hear from an assisted living facility or nursing home: one on one, individual care is given by in-home caregivers, not one caregiver for every eight patients, like their facilities.
The beauty of in-home care is that it reinforces and supports the care provided by family members and friends, while your loved one maintains their dignity and independence—and morale.
We’re great at long-distance relationships
Are you coordinating caregiving from out of town? When you are confident that your home care provider is top-notch in both caregiving and communication, there’s a certain peace of mind that accompanies that confidence. It may even help you sleep at night. We are there when you can’t be.
We have “The Calling”
Our success speaks for us. We are proud of our reputation. Having a career, or as we say, ‘passion,’ where we help make others’ lives better through our compassionate home care is why we are happily engaged in the calling of in-home care.

We’ll make you the family hero
If your siblings and other family have appointed you as the designated home care detective, we will make you the family hero.by providing the most complete details of what home care entails, why it works and how it will enrich your loved one’s quality of life. You’ll be able to share a blueprint of care with your siblings and family.
We’ve got it covered for you
As professional and compassionate caregivers, you can trust your choice of SYNERGY HomeCare of North Houston to have all the bases covered, especially these, which are the answers to new clients’ most frequently asked questions:

Client Testimonials
"I am a caregiver and was employed by Synergy Home Care. They were great to work for. Chad and his team were professional and really supported us. They provided us with great training and really prep us for any assignments. I loved working for them while I was in Houston."
Casey W.Tomball, TX)
"Great to work for you. I loved how you and Lorrie really cared for the ladies you sent me to. Hope to work for you next year!"
Megan S.Spring, TX)
"I could not have asked for better caregivers for my sister as she was dying of cancer. Krystal, Temperance, and Rebecca were very kind, loving and attentive to my sister's needs. I know I could go home to sleep and not worry about my sister. Their support for my family was a comfort. My cousin, who visited my sister the morning of her passing, commented on the wonderful care given by Rebecca, a young woman very mature for her age."
Nancy F.Spring, TX)
"We want to commend Dorthy for the professional, compassionate care she gave to our mother and to us. She is definitely an asset to your company. Many thanks to Diane for always helping when we needed it."
Ann W.The Woodlands, TX)
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for going the “extra mile” for my Mama in Cypress. It is very hard to accept the fact that you are losing a parent—especially if your mother is still with you, in flesh, not aware or responsible for her own actions. The tables are somehow reversed—you are now the parent and she is the child. That feeling is almost too much to bear. The responsibility is awesome. Somehow God helped me find you and your company. You found caregivers: Matilda (my Angel from Texas), Casey (kind and ever so patient with Mama), and finally Tamisha (great with filling in when needed). But the absolutely unbelievable one was you, Chad. When Matilda got sick, you stepped in to help my Mama. You did not send just anyone into my Mama’s home. YOU went every single day—making sure Mama had her medications and cooking a meal for her. YOU visited with Mama and got to know her and treated her with dignity and respect. It takes a special person to “fill in” when he’s the owner of a business. But you did—and you “done good”! You waited until you found the RIGHT person to care for Mama. I will always remember and appreciate what you have done. Once again thank you."
Barbara S.Cypress, TX)
"I would like to thank and recognize Diane and Chad from Synergy. With Synergy you are more than doing your job. I thank you from my heart. I felt alone in this journey--you helped me and stood by me all this way. You are real professionals."
Caridad MThe Woodlands, TX)
"My name is Carolyn M. Earlier this week we contracted with Synergy through Lesli, arranging for a companion/sitter for my father Howard M. D. at The Terrace at Champions. We were fortunate in that you sent Sharon C. to cover the second and third days of our arrangement. The family has had care givers before and from several different companies. Not one of them was as dedicated, as hard working or as interested in her "patient" as Sharon C. is. Dad hated having sitter sin the past but actually enjoyed Sharon's company and was sorry to see her leave. Should we need a companion/sitter again we will certainly ask for Sharon. She is an asset and a very good recommendation for Synergy HomeCare of Northwest Houston. Thank you,"
Carolyn M.Houston, TX)
"I am very pleased with Synergy HomeCare. My provider is reliable, kind and caring. I would recommend Synergy to anyone who needs help shopping, cleaning house or with personal hygiene, and trips to their doctors. Thank you."
Cheryl C.The Woodlands, TX)
"I don't know what I would do without Chad and Synergy. They give me the peace and comfort I need to be able to live my life and know that my Mom is being given good care and reliable care at an affordable price. It is a worthwhile service to have in the chaotic world we live in these days."
Debra WHouston, TX)
"Thanks so much for the great care for the holidays. Loretta was absolutely great!"
DeniseCypress, TX)
"I just wanted to thank you for all your compassionate services and effective thinking that you have provided Mom - and coordinated with us, the family. You have been not only responsive to Mom’s changing needs, but also proactive in making necessary changes that are in Mom’s best long term interest (adding Amy’s services and the morning coverage). This is impressive as well as much appreciated! I can recall several instances where “activating” Mom’s team (Synergy; family; doctors; parish nurse; friends, etc.) has worked and resolved situations within short periods of time for Mom’s benefit. … We also learn from each situation and you keep the communication going back and forth. We especially appreciate your effective use of technology for communication. We couldn’t have asked for better. You truly are up there in leadership and professionalism."
J.C.Houston, TX)
"Synergy HomeCare has provided reliable, professional caring individuals to help my mother. They have assisted me by giving me freedom to work knowing a caregiver would be there every day. Peace of mind is priceless, yet this company offered services at an economic rate, when compared to similar businesses. I would not hesitate to recommend Synergy HomeCare to others."
KarlSpring, TX)
"We appreciate all your help and your great staff. Our last minute calls with cancellations and ones for help went beyond the normal policies and we are very grateful. Will certainly refer others to your firm. Thanks."
