SYNERGY Home Care Franchise Partner Takes A Swing At The PGA Championship

The SYNERGY HomeCare team will be well represented next month when the PGA Championship tees off at Whistling Straits Golf Course in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

Omar Uresti, who owns SYNERGY HomeCare of South Austin along with his wife Anita, returns to the PGA Tour after a five-year hiatus. Omar, who is a PGA Life Member, recently tied for fifth at the Philadelphia Cricket Club, earning him a spot in the PGA Championship. Despite playing for more than a decade on the PGA Tour, Omar has never competed in a PGA Championship.

“I have played in six U.S. Opens, but to play in the PGA is also something special. I’m very excited about it,” said Omar in a recent interview with PGA.com.

When Omar walks onto the green next month, he’ll be representing SYNERGY HomeCare. The SYNERGY HomeCare logo has been embroidered on his shirt and golf bag. It’s Omar’s way of showing support for Anita, the woman who has supported his golf dreams for so many years.

When Anita and Omar first married, she caddied for him for almost two years. When their children came along, she managed his career in other ways – from booking travel to helping with accounting.

Omar took a step back about two years ago to allow Anita to realize her dream of business ownership. Together, they opened up a SYNERGY HomeCare franchise in South Austin last year. They’ve always had a wonderful partnership, one that is now shining through in their business.

The entire SYNERGY HomeCare community wishes Omar well in his quest for a win at the PGA Championship. Good luck!
